Project 2005

Well our project is almost complete and we finally have a chance to give you a proper update on our progress... but first a quick rundown...
- total number of small rooms repainted: 4
- total number of rooms refloored: 2-1/2
- total sq. footage of area tiled- about 2
- total number of full and partial days Guy and Cindy work: 10
- total number of days that WE worked: 0
-number of times Guy and Cindy canceled plans over the holiday to continue working: 3
- total number of trips to Home Depot and Lowes: 18 (including prior prep trips and oh we’re not done yet)
- most trips in 1 day: 4
- total number of complaints from the neighbors: 1


First we moved all of the furniture out of the living and dining rooms. I really don't mind the bookcase in the kitchen.











It provided a nice napping area and I was able to supervise during the loud periods when napping was impossible









Then we removed the carpet and the old floor... this cement is coooold.






We still had the table to nap on... it wouldn't fit in the kitchen









Halfway through the project there was an illness and we had to turn on our nursing duties while the project went untouched.





But work resumed...












It is now Sunday night and the furniture is back in place and I was surprised with a piece of carpet on top of the kitchen cabinets... Now I can supervise the rest of the project in comfort.
